$10 Million in Unpaid Child Support Intercepted From Casino, Racino, Lottery Winners

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) announced that more than $10 million in unpaid child support has been intercepted from winners at Ohio’s casinos, racinos and Ohio Lottery games.

A program was launched in 2014 that automatically checks jackpot and prize winners against a database of those owing support. When a match is made, all or part of the winnings is withheld.
