June Taylor is President and CEO of MWV Pinnacle Advisory Services, an affiliate of the MWV Pinnacle Capital Fund, L.P., a private equity investment fund based in Cleveland, Ohio. Ms. Taylor oversees the due diligence and certification process 'to qualify individuals and entities for business advice, capital and industry sector selection. MWV Pinnacle Capital Fund, L.P. is a private equity firm with the core mission of investing in the success, growth, and profitability of businesses that are led by diverse management teams, in order to create minority and/or women-owned, led or controlled businesses of meaningful size and scale, while providing a competitive return to its investors.
MWV Pinnacle Capital Fund, L.P. was created with investments from leading organizations led by: Eaton Corporation, FirstEnergy Corporation, Fifth Third Bank, Key Bank, PNC Bank (formerly National City Bank), and Sherwin-Williams Corporation. These corporations, along with A. Malachi Mixon III, Chairman of Invacare Corporation and Chair of MWV Pinnacle's advisory board, invested because they support the belief that creating and supporting minority -and women-owned businesses are beneficial to the community at large. Moreover, and just as important, they also support the belief that investing in women and minority capitalists can be economically profitable.
Prior to joining MWV, Ms. Taylor founded and was president of The Redmond Group, Ltd., (Cleveland) an executive search firm focused on senior-level finance professionals in the manufacturing and financial services industries. Ms. Taylor also founded and cohosted Career Talk, the popular talk show heard locally on AM radio and served as the Career Correspondent for the CBS television Cleveland affiliate 19 WOIO.
Prior to moving to Cuyahoga County, Ms. Taylor directed staffing for Sybase, Inc., North America based in Silicon Valley. She envisioned, developed and implemented successful university and professional recruitment strategies nationally with an emphasis on engineering and information technology specialists. At the peak of the internet cycle, Sybase was hiring 4,000 people monthly.
June received two degrees from Northwestern University: a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, and a Master's Degree from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management with concentrations in Finance & Marketing.
Board of Trustee memberships include: Sisters of Charity Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of the most in need, with special attention to families, women and children; Montefiore, a not-for-profit organization offering a comprehensive system of residential and community healthcare programs and services for seniors.
